Health Camps

Tribal areas of Konta don’t have enough hospitals and health centre; people don’t get facilities from government also. When we made a survey in the areas and found that people are not aware about the free facilities from government. So we took an initiative to set up health camps every month where we give free vaccinations, distribute free medicines and sanitary napkins etc. Besides that, we organize seminars with the help of renowned doctors to spread awareness about sensitive issues like sanitation, ill health, pregnancy, early marriage etc. In these years, we have made aware the girls and women of the villages and they are taking

things seriously. We talked with gram panchayat for building latrines and bathrooms in both schools and houses which have decreased the ratio of ill health.

Educational Intervention

Education is the only way to improve the knowledge about everything and it opens up the brighter side of life. Every child should get his basic education as they are the future of our country and after getting knowledge about world and country they will be able to make the right decision. But due to the economic status of our country, the children in rural areas don’t get their basic education rights. We took a step in this matter and started to provide basic education through free coaching and classes. We also distribute study materials and provide mid-day meals in our classes so that the children get the proper dose of nutrition and knowledge.

Day care centre

Every member of the families in these areas work hard to balance their daily lives, so they can’t take care of elders. The senior members of the families felt helpless, they often need support and care to do their daily activities. In our organization, we understand their needs and create a day care centre in different locations just to provide them support and care they need. This idea works as magic, the earning members of the family can go to work tension free while the older ones can get the care they need.

Awareness camp

AIDS is a matter which is not allowed to discuss openly as people still have the wrong idea about it. Especially in the rural areas, people haven’t heard the name, but it is an important matter that can’t be neglected. Every year a huge number of people die due to unawareness about this topic. We arrange close seminars and dramas to make residents aware about HIV. It is a sensitive issue but with the help of doctors and volunteers we become able to make them interested in this topic.
